The “Metropol” is located in Widnau, in the centre of the Middle Rhine Valley. This region has 30,000 inhabitants on the Swiss side of the Rhine. It is not far from Lake Constance and the border triangle of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Heerbrugg train station is only one kilometre away, and the international bus Heerbrugg – Diepoldsau – Hohenems stops directly in front of the building.
At the “Metropol”, the well-being of our guests is a top priority. The hotel has 27 double and single rooms with a total of 51 beds. The community hall is located right in the centre of the village. It can accommodate 500 people for concerts and 400 people for banquets. The infrastructure is of a high standard.
